Management Team

Govindarajan Vasudevan

As Business Area Director, Transportation and Logistics and as Controller for SAARC for Trimble Inc., Govind is responsible for financial, operational and administrative controls across the region. He is actively involved in developing strategies for revenue enhancement and margin improvement. Govind brings twenty-five years of rich experience in India and overseas, with private and public sector undertakings, in the areas of financial management, consulting and business planning. Govind is a Chartered Accountant from India and holds a Certified Public and Management Accountant certificate from the USA.

Rajan Aiyer

Rajan is the Managing Director and General Manager (SAARC Region) of Trimble India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trimble Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of Trimble’s operations in SAARC, including the software development Centres of Excellence in Chennai and Pune. He has over twenty-five years of general management experience and has held senior management positions at @Road, Accordion Networks, Nortel Networks, NET and Digital Equipment, prior to joining Trimble. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, Austin, USA and General Management Certification from Harvard Business School. He is an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce, India IMA, India CEO Forum and IIT Alumni Association.

Thomas Fansler

Fansler drives the success of Trimble Transportation Mobility with a proven track record in sales, marketing and product development for startups and corporate enterprises. His leadership in creative and strategic thinking, operations management, process improvement and risk management has been instrumental in fueling performance, both for TTA and its customers. Prior to Vusion, Fansler was cofounder and managing partner at Inter-Tax, Inc., building it into the largest North American fuel tax provider. After selling the company in 2007, he led its integration into Comdata, a leading financial services provider to the transportation industry.
